TERMS & CONDITIONS - THE BASICS

APPOINTMENTS

Make appointments through our website, via email, or by phone, as all methods are acceptable. This ensures that you will have a space reserved for your furry friend. Keep in mind that holiday booking slots fill up quickly. Additionally, before appointments can be booked and saved, please complete the registration profile and all required forms. Our booking and payment reservation policy applies to all appointments made through our website, email, or by phone.

NEW FURRY FRIENDS

For the well-being and comfort of our first-time furry friends, we kindly request their arrival between 7:30 AM and 8:00 PM. Upon your dog's departure, we will furnish you with a comprehensive report detailing their daily activities and the enjoyment they experienced.

VACCINATION

All furry friends must be up-to-date with vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and kennel cough, all of which are highly recommended. Flea and tick preventative is also required, and proof must be provided on the day of registration. While we can provide medication for your dog, we will not administer any life-threatening medication. Dogs showing signs of illness will not be accepted into the Bow-Wow Stay N’ Sleep Dog Hotel. All dogs must be free of contagious diseases, and proof of vaccination from a veterinarian is required before acceptance. In emergencies, we will contact the owner and a veterinarian.

DOG BEHAVIOR

Bow-Wow Stay N' Sleep Dog Hotel conducts an initial evaluation of each dog to assess behavior, temperament, and compatibility with other dogs. Dogs must be non-aggressive and non-toy protective and should not show any aggressive or threatening behavior towards staff, other dogs, or other pets. The health and safety of all dogs are our top concerns. To book an evaluation, dogs must be at least 12 weeks old and must wear a collar with their name. We reserve the right to refuse service to any dog that poses a danger to others. We group our dogs by size and temperament.

SPAYED OR NEUTERED

If your female furry friend is in heat, she will not be accepted at this time.

CLIENT COMMUNICATION

We will keep dog owners informed about their pet's progress and activities while in our care. Updates will be provided through email or phone calls. In the event of an emergency, please provide emergency contact information and veterinarian details. Clients will receive a daily verbal update on their dog's activities and behaviors. Additionally, we offer extra services such as grooming, massages, or specialized care. Pricing for these additional services will be discussed with clients. Before using our services, clients must acknowledge the terms and conditions, policies, and procedures by signing a document indicating their understanding of these.

PLAY WAIVER

Due to the natural behavior of dogs, involving mouthing, the use of teeth, and engaging in physical activity such as jumping, it is not unusual for dogs to return home after group play with odors, dirt, or minor abrasions. This can be likened to the experiences of children participating in school sports activities. We kindly request your signature on the liability waiver pertaining to group play and its subsequent return before services begin.

OWNER BEHAVIOR

The equipment in our facility, such as the toys, is intended solely for dogs. Bow-Wow Stay N’ Sleep Dog Hotel's not responsible for the safety of adults and children who stand on, lean on, tear/break, or injure themselves walking on our premises. We reserve the right to reject any parties that exhibit unruly and destructive behavior.

Moreover, staff are required to remain informed about all dog care protocols.

CLEANING & SANITATION

All areas designated for pet play should undergo cleaning twice daily to maintain hygienic standards. This regimen includes the regular cleansing of water bowls, relief stations, toys, and kennels as necessary, utilizing cleaning agents that are safe for pets. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of these areas should be conducted on a weekly basis.

The daily schedule comprises playtime, feeding, designated rest periods, brief walks, and scheduled bathroom breaks for the dogs.
